Captivating Series

I’m honestly really sad this series is over. I can’t even say I loved the last book that much but like ugh, it’s over. So sad. The last book was good but it really focused on Chloe and her investigation. It didn’t do the usual back and forth between the case and personal matters. However, the thing I found weird, or one of the things I found weird, was that they gave us a chapter of how Detective Rhodes, Chloe’s partner, felt about Chloe. Throughout the whole series, there was never a bounce back to Rhodes. Not once. And even in this book, only the one chapter (or a few paragraphs is more like it) was dedicated to Rhodes voice. Very odd. But in the end, I really liked the series. Blake Pierce has a way of captivating me. Drawings me back in for $6 a book. I’m happy to have read an enjoyed a series such as this one. And I hope to find more books I like as much as this series.

The last book was good but it really focused on Chloe and her investigation. It didn’t do the usual back and forth between the case and personal matters. However, the thing I found weird, or one of the things I found weird, was that they gave us a chapter of how Detective Rhodes, Chloe’s partner, felt about Chloe. Captivating Series

I’m honestly really sad this series is over. I can’t even say I loved the last book that much but like ugh, it’s over. So sad. The last book was good but it really focused on Chloe and her investigation. It didn’t do the usual back and forth between the case and personal matters. However, the thing I found weird, or one of the things I found weird, was that they gave us a chapter of how Detective Rhodes, Chloe’s partner, felt about Chloe. Throughout the whole series, there was never a bounce back to Rhodes. Not once. And even in this book, only the one chapter (or a few paragraphs is more like it) was dedicated to Rhodes voice. Very odd. But in the end, I really liked the series. Blake Pierce has a way of captivating me. Drawings me back in for $6 a book. I’m happy to have read an enjoyed a series such as this one. And I hope to find more books I like as much as this series.

Captivating Series

I’m honestly really sad this series is over. I can’t even say I loved the last book that much but like ugh, it’s over. So sad. The last book was good but it really focused on Chloe and her investigation. It didn’t do the usual back and forth between the case and personal matters. However, the thing I found weird, or one of the things I found weird, was that they gave us a chapter of how Detective Rhodes, Chloe’s partner, felt about Chloe. Throughout the whole series, there was never a bounce back to Rhodes. Not once. And even in this book, only the one chapter (or a few paragraphs is more like it) was dedicated to Rhodes voice. Very odd. But in the end, I really liked the series. Blake Pierce has a way of captivating me. Drawings me back in for $6 a book. I’m happy to have read an enjoyed a series such as this one. And I hope to find more books I like as much as this series.
